OUR PHILOSOPHY

Healing is Human Nature

At Waterleaf, everything we do is guided by our trust in the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Our work isn’t about simply making symptoms disappear — it’s about identifying and removing the obstacles preventing your body from healing itself for good. To do this, our Naturopathic Doctors view your health from a whole-body perspective, taking into account a wide range of physical, social, emotional, environmental, and nutritional factors.

Meet Dr. Meyers

Dr. Leslie Meyers is a licensed and board-certified naturopathic doctor who specializes in women’s health, fertility, gastrointestinal issues, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and insomnia. She completed her doctorate degree from Bastyr University and a specialty degree in homeopathy from the New England School of Homeopathy.

Dr. Meyers believes that healing involves listening to her clients, supporting them to overcome patterns in their lives, and putting together all the pieces of the puzzle to help them fully heal. She focuses on supporting her clients’ nutrition, movement, stress management, hormone and gut health, and their relationship with their body to achieve optimal wellness. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to take control of their own health, shift healthcare towards a system that focuses on wellness, and only rely on drugs and surgery when necessary.
