Happy Gut, Happy Body, Happy Mind Detox Program
Have you tried medications for your GI health or joint pain with no success? Would you like to feel in control of your health and possibly save money on healthcare costs? With our Happy Gut, Happy Body, Happy Mind Detox Program, you can feel clear, energetic, uplifted, and empowered with the ability to take control of your own health. This program is highly successful and life-changing. It improves symptoms of IBS/constipation/diarrhea, gastritis, fatigue, joint pain, low immune function/frequent colds, weight gain, sinus issues/post nasal drip, headaches, anxiety/depression, skin issues, and many other complaints. Although weight loss is not a focus of the program, most people do lose weight and continue to do so after the program.
Dr. Meyers will lead you through a 1 month, individualized program that involves 4 group classes. The first two weeks of the diet involves avoiding foods that are pro-inflammatory or common allergens, possibly including wheat, dairy, soy, corn, eggs, and sugar. We will provide you with plenty of support and information, answer all of your questions along the way, and give you delicious recipes and healthy food choices. Participants generally feel the best they have felt in many years. During the second two weeks we add foods back in slowly, learning about the body’s response to foods as we do so.
At Waterleaf, we believe in individualized medicine so despite the group class form of this program, your program will be individualized. Dr. Meyers individualizes recommendations (dietary and herbal) based on each person’s symptoms and motivations. A large amount of what each person is doing is the same or very similar though, making the group support incredibly valuable.
You will learn so much about your body, how eating certain foods make you feel, how to eat whole foods, about delicious and healthy new foods, and just how great you can feel!
The 2017 January Program will be held on four Monday evenings from 6:30-7:45pm.
